Launch conference of Danube4SEecosystem project

On April 22, 2024, took place the launch conference of the Danube4SEecosystem (D4SEE) project: " Enhancing the development of Social Economy by engaging Local Public Authorities in the Social Enterprises supporting Ecosystem for a more inclusive Labour Market in the Danube Region”, financed through the Danube Region Programme, Programme priority A3 – A more social Danube Region, Specific Objective 3.1 – Accessible, inclusive and effective labour markets, in which ATS is a partner.

Together with the project coordinator - the South-Muntenia Regional Development Agency, the consortium partners and associated partners, were present representatives of the Joint Secretariat from Hungary, the National Program Agency for the Danube Region, local public authorities, as well as representatives from the academic environment and social economy entrepreneurship.

In the launch conference were presented the objectives of the Danube Region Program, at international level and national level (Romania), the objectives of the D4SEE project and its implementation planning.

The event included a special session where Romanian participants of social economy sector has the opportunity to present examples of good practices regarding the collaboration between social enterprises and local public authorities, as well as examples of good practices regarding the integration of vulnerable groups into the labour market.

The agenda of the event continued with a session for panel discussions, the main topic being social enterprises and the support ecosystem in the Danube region and how they can be supported by local public authorities.
