The first study visit of the project Danube4SEecosystem in Bratislava, Slovakia

The first study visit of the Danube4SEcosystem project took place on 3-4 December 2024 in Bratislava, Slovakia, organized by the partner Slovak Business Agency, SBA. The two-day event aimed to share best practices for developing the social economy ecosystem in the Danube region, where participants had the opportunity to participate in insightful seminars, interactive discussions and inspiring visits to four leading social enterprises and initiatives:

• Budmerice Municipal Services (Trnava Region): Sustainable social economy practices
• Foundation New Cvernovka: A cultural hub combining artistic and social projects
• Social Enterprise BIVIO: A hotel and restaurant employing people with disabilities
• Odevná banka (Clothing Bank): Supporting single parents through sustainable solutions
