European Green Deal - Horizon 2020

The "European Green Deal" call, funded by Horizon 2020, scheduled to open in mid-September 2020, aims to support research and innovation projects with a budget of 1 billion euros. The call is structured in eight thematic areas, reflecting the workflows of the European Green Agreement and three horizontal areas for knowledge consolidation; citizen empowerment and international cooperation:

- Strengthening our knowledge in support of the European Green Deal
- Empowering citizens for transition towards a climate neutral, sustainable Europe
- Accelerating the clean energy transition and access in partnership with Africa
