The Europeana Platform for classrooms

The course "Europeana in classrooms - Building 21st century skills with digital cultural heritage" aims to improve the perception of teachers of cultural heritage to effectively integrate this topic into their courses and practices, regardless of the subject they usually teach.
The course aims to achieve the following objectives:

• The importance of integrating European cultural heritage in education;
• The use of digital collections made available by Europeana platform;
• Using the Europeana Collections Platform;
• Explore and become familiar with different Europeana applications, tools and materials;
• Creating learning activities using Europeana Collections resources;

The course will be open to all who are willing to participate, the main target audience are primary and secondary school teachers and trainers from Europe and beyond, who would like to know more about using digital cultural heritage in education. The course will start on January 13, 2020 and will end on February 27, 2020.
