Between Monday, 2nd – Wednesday, 4th November, 2020 has been taken place the 19th World Conference on Mobile, Blended and Seamless Learning - mLearn. ATS in colaboration with University of Central Lancashire Cyprus participated at the conference with the article "Mitigating the challenges of mobile games-based learning through gamified lesson paths". The paper outline some key challenges in relation to the application of games-based learning in mobile educational settings and we present an authoring system that has been developed in an attempt to address these challenges. The BEACONING authoring system enables teachers to create Gamified Lesson Paths (GLPs) that are playable in both mobile and desktop contexts.
