Project "Let's mimic – Biomimicry Design for sustainability skills in VET"
The "Let's mimic" project aims to integrate the concept of biomimicry into Vocational Education and Training (VET) programs to enhance sustainability, innovation, and the practical skills of high school students. Biomimicry is the practice of adapting strategies and models offered by nature into real-world solutions to address human challenges. This concept provides a unique and effective approach to vocational training activities.
By incorporating biomimicry into the VET curriculum, the "Let's mimic" project seeks to promote a new generation of skilled professionals capable of creating sustainable and innovative solutions inspired by nature. The project aims for VET education programs to be sustainable and relevant, supporting young people in developing green and environmental skills closely aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
